‘Couldn’t be easier’ Cu Chi Tunnel Speedboat Trip (half day)
One-hour boat ride up to Cu Chi shall provide a very different perspective on Saigon. The river ride is almost worth it just for that experience. The boat is stocked with cold water, tea, coke, and lots of fruit snacks.
Cu Chi Tunnel is famous for a real glimpse into life for the Vietnamese and their families during the war. All express strongly the human ingenuity against the most powerful army and formidable military technology.
You shall be collected and transferred to the dock for a well-organized speed boat along Saigon River (approx. 1hr15m) to Cu Chi tunnel.
Upon arrival, you will be shortly introduced byan introductory video about how the tunnels were constructed and how the people survived during hard condition of the war time. You will then explore the tunnels and underground infrastructure by climbing into a part of the tunnel, down on all fours and got a glimpse of the traps and tools used, learning about how local people improvised against vastly superior technology. Afterward, special tea and cassava (guerilla’s food during the war) will be served.
Break time or you could enjoy the chance to shoot gun in the shooting range (this is an ‘extra’, but when else would you get the chance to fire an M-16?). The shooting is for over 18’s only.
