Vam Sat Ecotourism, located in Can Gio district, is a core zone recognized by UNESCO on January 21, 2000, as Vietnam’s first Biosphere Reserve. This area is known for its rich biodiversity, featuring a diverse range of mangrove plants and aquatic species. The reserve is home to two unique conservation zones:
- Bird Sanctuary (602.5 ha): Home to 130 bird species, including 11 waterbird species.
- Bat Sanctuary (123.2 ha): A dense mangrove forest habitat for more than 300 Scotophilus Heathii bats.
This tour offers a deep dive into nature, providing a great opportunity to explore, learn, and experience the beauty of Can Gio’s unique ecosystem.
