Our guide Thuy started off the tour with teaching us Greetings in Vietnam, repeated it multiple times for us to get hold of it! We then were dropped at Cu... read more chi tunnels. Thuy explained every aspect of the place and answered all questions we had. Truly the itinerary gave us an overview of the hardships faced by the Vietnamese in a nutshell within half a day. The second half a day was filled with interaction with local people. We had a motor boat ride to two different islands. We were coconut candy, banana honey dipped sweets, Jasmine tea, local and seasonal fruits, folk music and what not. We also had a tour of the unicorn island and a boat ride! The second half of the day gave us the essence of life lived by the local people.

Overall this tour itinerary was best of both worlds in just a short span of 12 hours! We were on time with the schedule and had a fun filled experience. Special thanks to Thuy!

Just be aware that at the white sand dunes you will have to spend either 700,000 or 800,000 VND for an ATV up to the top!
