  Great tour to the lesser known tunnels - It was a great pleasure to do this trip to cu chi Tunnels. Tri was a very attentiv guide with a big knowlegde about history.

He gave a very informative talk on the history of Vietnam, it's challenges and how it has changed over... read more the last few centuries while adding a little humour! Walking through the tunnels was quite eye opening as the spaces were quite small, this was followed by a trip to their gunrange - AK-47 was the weapon of choice! (Top tip if you are thinking of firing, or even viewing - bring earplugs while you wait for the ear muffs!
Out next stop was to the Mekong river which was very peaceful. You will leave stuffed with fresh fruit, coconut candy, a new recipe for a honey drink and some lovely scales given by the Python! The people there were very kind and welcoming and even performed some of their traditional music for us.
Although it's a long day doing the two trips in one day, it's well worth it after my experience. Shout out to our driver also who made sure the air-con was flying before we landed back to the minibus!!
