We booked this last minute and grateful that we chose this tour in particular! Our guide Ken was incredibly friendly and so knowledgeable. On the drive there, he explained a... read more lot about Vietnam's history, and answered any questions asked with great detail. He was a very interesting speaker and made it easy to listen to. We stopped by the Handicapped Handmarket on the way which supports victims of agent orange, it was amazing to see their artwork process. Then the tunnels were quite an emotional experience, I went the 100m through and it was so difficult - I can't imagine how this was done when they were 30% smaller in size and carrying guns etc. All in all a great experience, had a fantastic tour guide and team to do this with. Thank you!
Our guide Linda was brilliant, incredibly knowledgeable and friendly and she worked very hard too as we were the only two travellers on the tour. We would give her 5... read more stars. The transport was great, the chocolate factory location was really cool and it was fun to see how it was made. We were transported on the Mekong Delta by boat which was really fun, and taken to some cool places to see how they make certain foods. We can see this tour really tried to help and support local businesses by showing us how things are made (chocolate, sweets and popped rice, snake alcohol) and their culture (folk music) and so we appreciated seeing this, and there was obviously the hope along the way that we bought things or made a contribution. As it was only the two of us on the tour this felt a little awkward at times. Along the way we were always fed, especially the local fruit, and the free lunch was exceptional, this is also where we learned how to make the traditional Vietnamese pancake, which was super fun, and this was added to a feast of grilled fish, prawns, soup, spring rolls and grilled meat. The locals were very friendly and so attentive. We also got the chance to kayak on the Mekong and bike through the fruit gardens which was really fun and memorable experiences. We would have loved a group tour (which we requested) but for some reason this didn't go ahead. We also didn't see much of the floating markets on the river, which we thought we would. All in all though this was a good experience and would recommend if you want a true snapshot of local life at the Mekong Delta.
Excellent tour with great guide - Linda was an excellent guide for our Cu Chi Tunnel tour. Very knowledgable and excellent English. She is great fun and has a great sense of humour.
I would... read more definitely recommend Linda and Hana Tourist Vietnam for any tours in the area.
