Overview

Vam Sat Ecotourism is a core zone in the Can Gio district founded in 2000. On 21 January 2000, recognized UNESCO Vam Sat as Vietnam’s first Biosphere Reserve. It has been recognized for the diversity of typical mangrove forest plants and aquatic animal systems, making it an excellent natural landscape biodiversity destination for studying and discovering nature. There are two species conservation zones in Vam Sat ecotourism:
a) Bird Sanctuary: 602.5 ha, home to 130 birds of several species, including 11 waterbird species.
b) Bat Sanctuary: 123.2 ha, a dense mangrove forest where more than 300 bats live, especially the Scotophilus Heathii bat.

WHAT TO EXPECT

  • Boarding the canoe to appreciate the Soai Rap River landscapes (Oyster farm & Fish farm) and the typical flora and fauna of the Vam Sat mangrove forest.
  • Catching crabs game.
  • Witnessing thousands of water birds covering the sky.
  • Feeding crocodiles and taking photos with monkeys
  • Admiring the beautiful panoramic of view Mangrove Biosphere Reserve
  • Swimming in a nice pool view at your own expense, or on the beach.

Itinerary

Day 1 :
Ho Chi Minh City - Can Gio Island

At 7:30 AM, pick you up at your hotel.
♦ Passing the traditional transportation Binh Khanh.
♦ On the way, SAC forest, the main route running along aquaculture, residential area, mangrove trees,... The road was completed in 2011 through 8 bridges with a capacity of 30 tons. Moreover, it was the main route used by American forces to transport weapons, materials, and food.
♦ Boarding on a Canoe to see a panoramic view background of Mangrove Biosphere Reserve.
♦ Drop off Bat Sanctuary. Rowing on a small sampan in the mangrove peninsula to see bat habitat – a picturesque natural landscape, you will have a chance to participate in the “Catching crabs” game.

♦ Stop at Vam Sat eco-tourism to follow several activities:
+ Walking to the Bird Sanctuary, which is bustling with thousands of bird species covering the sky.
+ Feeding crocodiles and taking a photo with a hundred wild monkeys written in Red Book.
+ Climbing up to the highest Tang Bong Tower with a 26-meter height. To admire the beautiful panorama of the Mangrove Biosphere Reserve covering around Soai Rap River.
♦ Back to the beginning, Dan Xay Station; On the way, we will enjoy a special dessert ( Nipa Fruits) and visit Flea Seafood Market Hang Duong.
♦ Time to lunch served at Gio Long Restaurant.
♦ Swimming in a nice pool view at your own expense, or on the beach.
It ends the tour and drops you off at your hotel.

Child Policy:

Child under 11 years old: 75% of adults fare

Child under 04 years old: FOC (Children’s expenses on tour will pay by their parents)

Refund Policy

When you book a reservation for a Tour or Service through our Website, full Payment by credit, debit card, bank transfer, or Paypal is required to make a reservation. 

No refunds are available once a tour or service has commenced or in respect of any package, accommodation, meals, or other services utilized.

If you wish to cancel a reservation made via the Website, this policy will apply to and govern the terms of your cancellation and any refunds. When canceling a booking, you will need to contact us and raise your demand for the total refund amount you will receive.

The standard cancellation policy for HanaTourist is:

a 100% refund for cancellations made at least 24 hours before the start date of the experience.

Cancellations made within 24 hours of the start date of the experience will receive no refund. However, we will have full rights to decide if the Refund Claim is reasonable for the cancellations made during this timeline.

The value of the transaction may be subject to taxes, duties, foreign commerce, currency exchange, or other fees.
