Cu Chi Tunnels - Can Tho City - Cai Rang Floating Market

Overview

This is one of the best combination trips to discover the South of Vietnam for travelers with limited time in Ho Chi Minh City (Sai Gon).
You can view this area’s natural wonders in just two days. It has magnificent natural scenery, a cool floating place, a spectacular view of rice fields, a lovely sunset, an incredible historic landmark, and glorious fruit orchards.

WHAT TO EXPECT

  • Get to visit a "less popular tourist" Ben Duoc tunnel site.
  • Visitors will have a chance to experience the residents' agricultural lifestyle.
  • Visit the largest floating market and sample some fresh fruits offered by locals, indulging yourself in the serenity of giant rice paddies and waterways.
  • Rowing canals and enrolling in a culinary class will definitely make you happy.
  • Trying some chocolate made in a local factory can give you a better understanding of how the Mekong people make chocolate sweets.
  • Enjoy a wonderful lunch prepared using locally sourced ingredients.

Itinerary

Day 1 :
SAIGON – CU CHI TUNNELS – CAN THO CITY

7:30 am, Hana Tourist Guide will offer a convenient pickup at your hotel or location in HCMC to travel to Cu Chi Tunnels.
After finishing our trip to Cu Chi Ben Duoc less touristy tunnel, we will head to the Mekong Delta - a region where boats, houses, and markets float upon rivers, canals, and streams traverse the landscape like channels.
♦ Option 1: stay in a hotel: free time at night and have dinner on your own.
♦ Option 2: stay at home-stay: you can take a bike around the village if time permits, have fun and have dinner with local people.
♦ Free time to explore Can Tho city at night time.

Day 2 :
CAI RANG FLOATING MARKET – SAIGON (Breakfast, Lunch)

♦ After breakfast, we shall pick you up at the hotel at 06:30 for an early floating market trip. It takes about 40 minutes to get to our first spectacular landscape - Cai Rang floating market. You’ll have a chance to try some fruits such as mango, durians or pineapples.
♦ After that, our boat goes on to reach a noodle and a rice paper factory to discover how locals make rice paper, noodles, and other traditional products.
♦ Another 10-minute boat ride shall take you to a fruit orchard where we will have about an hour of biking around the countryside. This is the very time to leave the main tourist trail and go off-grid to discover local life. Tropical fruits and tea and the fishing activity shall be the next part to recharge after the biking time.
♦ 11:00 AM: we will enjoy our Vietnamese lunch at a local restaurant.
♦ On the way back, it’s worth visiting Kimmy Chocolate Factory, which provides chocolates with different flavors, and you can try them freely.
♦ After that, we head back to HCMC, and the tour ends with a memorable experience.

If you wish to cancel a reservation made via the Website, this policy will apply to and govern the terms of your cancellation and any refunds. When canceling a booking, you will need to contact us and raise your demand for the total refund amount you will receive.

The standard cancellation policy for HanaTourist is:

a 100% refund for cancellations made at least 24 hours before the start date of the experience.

Cancellations made within 24 hours of the start date of the experience will receive no refund. However, we will have full rights to decide if the Refund Claim is reasonable for the cancellations made during this timeline.
