Overview
Mui Ne is about 200km from Ho Chi Minh City, and it takes 4 hours to get there. This place attracts foreigners and locals with 12 kilometers long sweeping bay that boasts all kinds of sea activities, especially kite-surfing, Fairy Stream, Fishing Village, White and Red Sand Dunes with the vast desert and the beautiful lake view right beside. This one is one of those great travel packages you can enjoy during sunrise or sunset.
The Red & The White Sand Dunes
Mui Ne’s main claim to fame is its incredible dunes that lie not too far from the ocean. We ensure that desert-like landscapes exist nowhere in the world, so close to the sea and beaches!
There are two areas; the first is the white dunes, which are the bigger of the two sites, and are famous as a quad biking hotspot. After the white dunes, the red dune has a small piece of rusty red sand desert that is perfect for sand sledding.
The Fairy Stream
Maybe there are no fairies, but it has a beautiful stream sandwiched by a red canyon and green forest—an experience of walking through the stream of water and admiring the various colors. The interesting rock formations painted a picture of the effect of stalactites in the sand in Mui Ne at low prices, but the moment only appears in Phong Nha Cave or Ha Long Bay.
The Fishing village
Get up at sunrise and take the motorbike to the fish village in the small town of Mui Ne. There are hundreds of fishermen catching onto the beach and exchanging their various fish. At the same time, their wives and mothers, who wait on the shoreline ready to sell the fish, shout and bargain with customers.
